EAGLE

The EAGLE Radar Family is a mobile, medium-range radar system operating on a Pulse Wave principle with a much longer range, and an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) antenna which utilises the X-Band Frequency Range for an extremely high resolution. This radar family is incredibly versatile in its applied technology with several variants with different applications available, ranging from Counter Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (C-UAV), Naval & Off-Shore Observation and Counter Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM) applications such counter-battery. 

Its effective range can extend up to a maximum of 120 kilometres, while its C-UAV configurations can detect micro-sized drones with a Radar Cross Section (RCS) of 0.01m2 at ranges of up to 30 kilometres. Depending on its designated mission, the radar configurations can range from man-portable tripods, towable chassis with independent power supplies, to fully mobile systems mounted on large platforms such as 6×6 or 8×8 vehicles, depending on its intended mission. 

Like all of our radars, the EAGLE can be fully integrated with other existing Air-Defence Assets such as Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) and Anti-Air (AAs) installations by way of data exchange or full data fusion into C4i networks. This system is ideal for protecting Critical Infrastructure from low-flying, manoeuvrable and hard-to-detect threats such as UAVs or detect the point of origin of various projectile-based attacks such as artillery or mortar fire.
