ML-HADS

Multi-Layer Hybrid Anti-Drone System

The Multi-Layer Hybrid Anti-Drone System (ML-HADS) is a highly scalable, modular hybrid air defence system which combines both Soft-Kill and Hard-Kill threat elimination measures for protecting critical infrastructure against Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). It is the combination of all of our expertise and know-how in the realm of Counter-UAV (C-UAV) defensive into a single unified system featuring:

  1. Early Warning Zone outfitted with our advanced Radar System [backlink] for detection and acquisition of small, low-flying threats. The AI driven software will begin tracking, recording and analysing the target’s movements in preparation for the deployment of elimination countermeasures.
  2. Soft-Kill Zone for electronic warfare, armed with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Mobile Band and RF Frequency Jamming System, [backlink] which severs the connection between a UAV and its operator.
  3. Hard-Kill Zone employing our autonomous, auto-tracking and auto-firing, RP-24 MLRS anti-drone Rocket System, [backlink] which intercepts and neutralises hostile UAVs with its 57mm FRAG rockets.

The main advantage of the ML-HADS is that it is highly scalable, making it suitable for the active protection of all types of critical infrastructure. The system is highly customisable according to the End User’s exact needs and each security zone (Detection Zone, Soft-Kill Zone & Hard-Kill Zone) can be expanded or reduced depending on the security element deployed and the number of deployed components.

Larger and more powerful radar systems increase the types of threats that can be discovered and tracked, as well as the distance at which early warning can be issued. Furthermore, multiple layers of jamming systems and rocket launcher systems can be deployed to create even larger buffers zones for areas of vital importance with high security requirements.

All of the components are interconnected via our proprietary software & hardware with a centralised command and control interface granting a unified picture of the protected area. Finally, the ML-HADS can be connected via data exchange or full data fusion with existing defence assets or security infrastructure for seamless C4i integration.
