The CONDOR Radar Family is a mobile, long-range Multi-Mission Radar (MMR) System operating on a Pulse Wave principle with a much longer range, and an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) antenna which utilises the S-Band Frequency Range for extending its detection radius even further while maintaining a high-resolution fidelity. This radar family features are most powerful radar configurations designed for detecting high-flying and fast-moving aerial threats and providing early warning to Air-Defence assets.
Engineered to detect and follow multiple targets simultaneously, including Air-Breathing Threats (ABTs), Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBMs), and even Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs), the system offers a maximum detection radius of up to 450 kilometres, with Early Warning variants extending up to 750 kilometres. Additionally, the system is capable of detecting Hypersonic Threats and Stealth Aircraft and even Low-Orbit Satellites – providing full airspace coverage and awareness against a wide range of advanced threats.
Like all of our radars, the CONDOR can be fully integrated with other existing Air-Defence Assets such as Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) and Anti-Air (AAs) Installations by way of data exchange or full data fusion into C4i networks. This system is ideal for protecting High-Value Assets and various Critical Infrastructure from high-flying, long-range attacks and is capable of feeding targeting data to advanced interceptor missiles.
